Councillor Sica, in partnership with Black Earth Compost, is hosting a Pumpkin Smash event at the Linden School on Saturday, November 1 from 12-2PM. Rather than throw your pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns out, you can compost them at this event. As an added bonus, you get to take turns aiming at targets as you toss your pumpkins into the compost truck!

Note that pumpkins with paint, glitter, and/or candles won't be eligible to compost.
