Mingyeong Son, a PhD in Musicology, will give a special performance accompanied by traditional Korean instruments and piano. The program will feature "Arirang" (a beloved Korean folk song), "Sogochum" (a traditional Korean drum dance), and a piano arrangement of a BTS hits song. Following the performance, Dr. Son will deliver an engaging lecture on the history of Korean music, highlight contemporary Korean composers, and explore the global wave of K-pop.
